We are currently updating our car park to enhance your parking experience. As a thank-you for your patience during this transition (17 November 2025 to 30 November 2025), please enjoy two weeks of free parking at Emerald Square!
Important Parking Update – Effective 1 December 2025
Starting from 1 December 2025, visitors will receive 30 minutes of free parking at Emerald Square. After this time, standard parking rates will apply. The previous 1.5-hour free parking period will be replaced by this new system. You can still enjoy extended free parking by validating your ticket at participating stores.
Parking Rates
A license plate recognition system captures and records the time of entry for each car and assigns this entry time to the car registration. If a car leaves the car park and comes back within 1.5 hours, the parking time is counted from the first entry. This means additional parking charges may apply based on the total time spent in the car park.

Carpark entrance is at 8 Wynne Avenue, Burwood.
Please travel to Level B3 of the Basement to receive your 1.5 hours Free Parking at Emerald Square.

Parking at Emerald Square will no longer have 1.5 hours free parking. The first 30 minutes will remain free, with standard rates applying after the free period. If your stay is under 30 minutes, simply drive to the exit, and the boom gate will lift automatically.

Emerald Square parking is located exclusively on B3. Levels B1 and B2 are owned and managed by Burwood Council. As Emerald Square operates a ticketed parking system, we do not issue fines. In contrast, Burwood Council parking requires hourly payment.
For any concerns regarding fines, we recommend contacting Burwood Council directly for further assistance.

If you stay beyond your complimentary parking period, please make your payment at any pay station before exiting the car park.
For added convenience, credit card payment is also available at the exit barriers.

Yes, Emerald Square offers designated disabled parking spaces for your convenience.
I have a disabled parking permit. Will parking rates apply?
All customers receive 1.5 hours of FREE parking. After this period, standard parking rates will apply, even for vehicles displaying a valid disabled parking permit.
